Energy Drinks Blamed for Tooth Errosion Epidemic

Research performed by the Australian Dental Association has shown there is a disproportionate level of tooth erosion amongst Australian teenagers. The research was carried out at schools across Austrlia and it was found that almost 70% of the teenagers that took part in the study had symptoms of errosion in at least one tooth. (more…)

Teeth Whitening Amongst US Back to School Essentials

Believe it or not, but a survey conducted by the American Express Spending & Saving Tracker has revealed that a large proportion of US parents have been spending money on teeth whitening, hair highlights and tattoos for their children as they head back to school for another new year. The survey assessed the ‘back to school’ spending intentions of American parents and surprisingly enough the listed purchases were considered to be ‘back to school essentials’ by 45% of the parents surveyed. TMJ Pain
