A First Aid Kit for Teeth

You may have heard of taking a first aid kit with you when you go away on holiday, but how about a kit for dealing with dental emergencies. It may not be the first thing that springs to mind when you’re packing your suitcase, but an American company has produced a ‘do it yourself’ emergency dental kit in time for the summer holidays that is small and portable. It’s proving to be popular with consumers.

The emergency dental kit is packed with enough equipment to deal with a whole host of minor dental emergencies and the blurb claims that with the kit you’ll be able to treat lost or cracked fillings, chipped teeth, toothaches and even broken braces. There are two version of the kit, the more expensive of the two includes temporary dental cement and fillings too, so you can have a short term solution for your dental crisis whilst you travel to see a qualified dentist.

Although the idea of such a kit might seem a little strange at first it could actually prove to be quite a useful piece of equipment, particularly for people who play contact sports, or involve themselves in other activities that could end up in a dental emergency. It could prove a hit with people travelling abroad to ski or indulge in other winter sports, or sports teams on tour. The compact size of this kit makes it ideal for people travelling, although you could quite as easily use it at home as well as whilst you’re away.
