Cosmetic Dentist Saves the Big Day

A lad’s night out threatened an usher’s chances of looking the part for his friend’s wedding when he awoke on the big day with metal rod protruding from his gum!

Jonathan Bourne was due to perform the duties of head usher at his good friend’s wedding in Devon and, like any self-respecting modern man, had been paying particular attention to his appearance in order to look his best in the wedding photos.

The evening before his trip to Devon to prepare for the wedding saw Jonathan enjoying a night on the town with his local friends – in hindsight a bad decision.  Although Jonathan cannot remember what happened during that evening he will not be quick to forget the results of the night out.  He awoke in the morning to a metal rod protruding from his gum in place of one of his front teeth!

Jonathan had undergone cosmetic dentistry as a child to replace a tooth knocked out during a game of tennis.  The tooth was secured with a dental implant and had presented no problems in the years since the surgery.  On the day he was due to travel Jonathan was accosted by an unpleasant sight in the mirror and simply had to get the problem fixed before the first photographer’s flash.

Fortunately a friend was sensible enough to suggest an eminent cosmetic dentist with a clinic local to Jonathan.  This top surgeon, famed for participating in television show Extreme Makeover, was incredibly understanding and agreed to open the surgery specifically to help.  A replacement tooth was fixed in place and Jonathan was able to undertake his journey to the wedding.  An example of emergency cosmetic dentistry available in London and the UK at its very best.
