Dentistry Grads don’t Struggle to Find Employment

It’s been widely reported in the news that new graduates who have just left university are struggling to find work. There’s been a severe drop in the number of available graduate vacancies and with a soaring number of people attending university every year it’s getting harder for graduates to find work.

However, that is not strictly the case for every graduate. It’s been reported that dentistry graduates have the greatest likelihood of securing a job upon completion of their degrees with 99% managing to find work after university. The situation for many is quite the opposite with 1 in 4 graduates from some universities being unable to find work.
Good news then for those studying dentistry. With such a high proportion of dental graduates successfully securing employment after leaving university then students currently studying dentistry probably won’t have too much to worry about they graduate.

There are plenty of routes open to dental graduates in London and many will opt to pursue a career as a cosmetic dentist rather than go down the standard route as an NHS dentist. There’s plenty of opportunity for those who have the right qualifications and dentistry graduates are unlikely to have much difficulty in forging a career. There’s demand for dentists in countries all over the world, so many may choose to emigrate after obtaining their qualifications. Whatever dentistry graduates choose to do it’s certain that they will have much less of a hard time finding work than many of their counterparts studying in other fields.
