Cosmetic dentistry is the art and science of creating a beautiful smile. At the Orthodontic Centre we believe in a multi-disciplinary approach based on minimal intervention of healthy teeth. Our cosmetic dentists work very closely with our specialist orthodontists to ensure this.
We have extensive experience in the area of smile makeovers and our empathetic approach with meticulous attention to detail sets us apart from the rest. The process often leads to a life-changing moment, when you smile with renewed confidence for the first time!
Smile makeovers can completed in as little as two visits. They range from simple whitening to the repair of old tooth restorations or a bite problem that can involve most or all of the teeth, and is known as a full mouth reconstruction.
Crooked or unaligned teeth can be straightened with braces (orthodontics). These can be regular braces, tooth coloured braces, lingual braces (on the tongue side of the teeth) or Invisalign invisible braces. They can also be covered with porcelain veneers to give you a perfect smile with tooth shape, colour and position.
Chipped or broken teeth can be repaired. Depending on the amount of damage we can use cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers or metal free, tooth coloured crowns.
Decayed teeth or old unsightly metal fillings can be restored or changed with white fillings or porcelain inlays.
Missing teeth or gaps between your teeth can either be closed with orthodontics or veneers, or if they require a replacement can be restored with a dental implant, metal free bridges or cosmetic dentures.
Stained, discoloured or darkened teeth can be whitened to rejuvenate your smile. This can be at home treatment with bespoke made whitening trays or the optimal combine at home and power whitening treatment (Enlighten).
Too much gum when you smile is known as a gummy smile and can be adjusted with surgical or laser gum contouring, with the option of veneers afterwards.
Finally to complete the perfect smile, if you have thin lips, deep smile lines or heavier frown lines we offer Botox muscle relaxation and dermal fillers (Restylane and Juvederm) treatments.
We treat patients here at our practice in Harley Street, many patients find us following a search for Smile Makeover clinics in the London W1 area.
